Spider-Man”s costume. Twitter quickly broke down into two camps…much like the two teams in Civil War itself. At home, Parker makes himself a spider-themed costume, a supply of sticky web fluid, cheap spiderman costume and two jets for his wrists that can shoot the fluid. Anyway, as proof, here’s two shots I took earlier in the day. After the action beats, there were several shots of Spidey sitting or standing on the edge of a building next to (I believe) Ironman and several other super heroes. To be more accurate, Spidey wasn’t in the scene they were filming outside my place, but they were reviewing VFX work on a macbook pro after filming for the day.
Fortunately, that”s either due to the lighting, the speed of which the camera is moving, realistic spiderman costume or that the VFX on the costume weren”t finished by the time the trailer went to press. Marvel also released a high-res image of Spider-Man from the trailer. Does the high-res image make you feel more confident in Spider-Man”s duds? It wasn’t the weird tapered swirly basketball crap from Amazing 1, nor was it a patched together costume a kid would make. Truthfully if my buddy didn’t bring it up in this thread, I really wouldn’t have chatted on the internet about it because there isn’t a whole lot different about the overall design from what I could make out.
Short-lived though it may have been, the Scarlet Spider duds still stand as a bold take on the iconic Scarlet Spider costume. We do see the scene may involve both Captain America and Falcon, and Iron Man even gets a mention. The description appears to be from early filming as it’s noted Tom Holland wasn’t apparently cast, and they may have been using a placeholder costume. If you were lucky maybe your mom could sew something really nifty that the other kids didn’t have. Stunner isn’t in the mini that this fancast is based on, but I felt it would be nice to have a villain who’s pretty obscure for most people. The new status quo fractures the Avengers while they try to protect the world from a new and nefarious villain. Avengers. I didn’t see anything lower than his hips, I think, so I don’t know if he had shoe soles or anything like that for his feet.
It’s entirely possible we’ll see this power play a role in a future Spider-Man game or DLC, but at this point it’s definitely taken a backseat to the main story. In addition to a possible first look at Spidey merchandise, a potential description for Spider-Man in Captain America: Civil War lands online. Basically the only takeaway I had at the time is that the general shapes were very much the Spidey we know. Overall the suit looked pretty similar to the Andrew Garfield Amazing Spiderman 2 outfit with the large comic-booky eyes, except this time they were extremely reflective. At that time they had flown multiple actors out here for screen-tests, so no one had been locked down as Spider-Man yet.
